The Content Marketing Institute (CMI) has announced the top seven winners of the 2024 Content Marketing Awards during a live-streamed ceremony.

As the largest and longest-running global content marketing awards programme, the CMAs recognise outstanding achievements in the content marketing industry, celebrating top projects, agencies, and marketers from around the world.

Salesforce’s Salesblazer campaign took home the prestigious title of Project of the Year. Meanwhile, Message Lab was named Agency of the Year for companies with fewer than 100 employees, and Manifest won in the same category for agencies with over 100 employees. The awards also highlighted notable B2B and B2C content campaigns, as well as exceptional individual marketers driving the industry forward.

B2B and B2C Campaigns of the Year

The B2B Branded Content Campaign of the Year went to TIAA for their TIAA TMRW campaign, which spanned two editions. This achievement further solidifies TIAA’s role in shaping innovative B2B marketing strategies. Also, on the consumer side, Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower, in partnership with SPH Media, took home the award for B2C Branded Content Campaign of the Year for their “FWA!” Bringing Flexible Work Arrangements to Life campaign.

Recognising individual leadership in content marketing, Micky Onvural, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at TIAA, was named B2B Content Marketer of the Year. The B2C Content Marketer of the Year accolade was awarded to Jim Bentubo, Senior Director of Content & Production at Ally, for his contributions to consumer-facing campaigns.

Stephanie Stahl, Managing Director at CMI, emphasised the significance of the awards in recognising the hard work and innovation behind the winning campaigns. “It’s an honour to celebrate these award-winning content marketing projects and the marketers behind them,” Stahl stated. She additionally acknowledged the dedication required to create such high-quality, impactful content and expressed excitement about the continued growth and innovation within the content marketing space.

The 2024 Content Marketing Awards is a milestone event for the industry, celebrating not just the top seven winners but also more than 60 category winners that were announced earlier in August. A full list of winners is available on the CMI website, providing insights into the diverse and creative campaigns driving the content marketing industry forward.

Looking Ahead to 2025

Winners of the 2024 CMAs will be also celebrated at Content Marketing World, the industry’s flagship event, scheduled to take place in San Diego from October 21-23. This event will bring together thought leaders, marketers, and innovators from around the world to discuss the latest trends and developments in content marketing.

With the announcement of the 2024 winners, attention now turns to the 2025 Content Marketing Awards, which will open for entries in spring 2025. Brands, agencies, and marketers eager to showcase their work and gain recognition for their achievements in the fast-evolving content marketing landscape will be able to submit their projects next year.

For marketers and B2B industry professionals, these awards highlight the importance of creativity, strategy, and execution in content marketing. With the bar set higher each year, brands must continue to innovate and evolve their content strategies to stay competitive in this dynamic field.
