This year, in addition to the lineup of formal talks and workshops, attendees can look forward to an exciting new addition called WP Connect. The organizing committee has unveiled the schedule for this series of informal discussions aimed at fostering community engagement.
Formerly known as WP Café, WP Connect has undergone a rebranding to better align with its mission of connecting WordPress enthusiasts from all backgrounds. It serves as a space for attendees to participate in guided conversations on various community-based topics while enjoying a cup of their favorite beverage together.
The Community team behind the event has carefully planned six open discussions throughout WCEU2023, providing ample opportunities for attendees to connect, share their experiences, and discuss the future of WordPress. By removing traditional expertise levels such as “Beginner” or “Intermediate,” WP Connect aims to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to participate, regardless of their level of experience.
Isotta Peira, an organizer on the Community team, expressed enthusiasm for WP Connect’s objectives:
“We are excited to offer to all attendees a space to connect, share their experiences, their wins, and hopes for the future of WordPress.
