In the rapidly evolving landscape of digital marketing, Videobot, a Finnish-Luxembourgish marketing technology startup, has recently garnered attention by winning the esteemed Creative Young Entrepreneur award. This accolade, presented by the Junior Chamber International of Luxembourg, highlights the company’s innovative approach in integrating video content with chatbot technology, addressing the shift from traditional text to video in online consumption.

The award ceremony, held on December 7th, saw Videobot emerge victorious among 32 competing companies. The competition’s criteria encompassed several facets: innovation, economic viability, social impact, the capacity to overcome challenges, and a vision for the future. Videobot’s triumph was the result of a unanimous decision by a 14-member jury.

Videobot’s journey began in the summer of 2022, under the leadership of serial entrepreneurs Matias Mäenpää and Anssi Kiviranta. In a remarkably brief period, the startup has achieved significant international growth. Today, Videobot boasts nearly 200 large and mid-sized client companies spread across almost 20 countries.

Matias Mäenpää expressed his gratitude following the award ceremony, stating, “We have succeeded in winning the trust of our clients and now in convincing a jury that values innovative entrepreneurial spirit. It’s great that our team’s hard work is recognized. This award goes to everyone at Videobot.”

The competition was fierce, with the augmented reality startup Fabstwines securing the second position, followed by Emma, a company specializing in managed cloud services, in third place.

Videobot’s unique offering lies in its Software as a Service (SaaS) model, which ingeniously melds short video formats with chatbot functionalities. This innovation allows businesses to seamlessly transition their customer journeys into the video era. The versatility of Videobot’s solutions is evident in its diverse clientele, encompassing sectors like telecommunications, automotive, real estate, and home and living.

Mäenpää, discussing Videobot’s rapid ascent in the market, remarked, “In a year and a half, Videobot has grown into an internationally significant player in its field, and our solution is used for product and service demonstrations as well as for communicating political objectives, to name just a couple of examples. We want to be the Coca-Cola of videobots.”
