Emma Guy, Chief Commercial Officer at Aqueous Digital, has been awarded gold in the ‘Business Woman of the Year – Small (£1m to £10m turnover)’ category at the National Business Women’s Awards 2024.

The ceremony, held at London’s Leonardo Royal Tower Bridge Hotel on 25 October, celebrated the achievements of leading businesswomen across the UK.

Emma expressed gratitude for the recognition, highlighting the significance of her team’s role in achieving the honour. “It was a privilege to stand next to so many remarkable businesswomen who act as role models every day,” said Emma, who resides in Northwich. “This award not only reflects my personal dedication but also the achievements of the entire team at Aqueous.”

Aqueous Digital, a Cheshire-based digital marketing agency specialising in SEO, content strategy, and online reputation management, was co-founded by Emma and her husband Jonathan in 2011. Since its inception, the agency has maintained a focus on helping clients establish a strong digital presence through what Emma describes as “gold-standard digital marketing.”

Award Judging Criteria Emphasises Leadership and Diversity

The judging panel, composed of respected business leaders, sought candidates who demonstrate vision, entrepreneurial spirit, leadership, and a commitment to promoting gender diversity. Emma’s selection was based on her embodiment of these qualities within her role at Aqueous Digital.

Reflecting on Emma’s achievement, Kristian Bentham, Marketing Director at Aqueous Digital, said, “We’re thrilled that Emma’s commitment and leadership were celebrated at such a prestigious event. We strive not only to provide exceptional service but also to foster a supportive work culture that prioritises team development and recognises individual achievements. Emma’s success is a testament to the strength of our team and to our agency’s core values of trust, loyalty, and collaboration.”

Recognising Success Across Diverse Sectors

The National Business Women’s Awards aim to honour and celebrate the contributions of businesswomen across various industries in the UK. With over 20 categories, the awards cover a range of business achievements, and each entry also undergoes rigorous evaluation by a panel of expert judges to ensure a transparent and fair selection process.

The annual event serves as a platform to spotlight outstanding women in business, recognising their achievements and contributions to their fields, as well as their commitment to fostering diversity and growth within their industries.
