Columbus, a global digital consultancy, has announced the appointment of Beatrice Silow as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
With over 25 years of experience in leadership roles within international technology firms, Silow brings a wealth of knowledge in transformative marketing strategies, visionary leadership, and strategic insights. Her most recent role was as Director of Communication and Culture at Nexer Group in Sweden, where she successfully built and led the company’s strategic marketing function.
This appointment aligns with Columbus’ “New Heights” growth strategy, which aims to enhance its position as a strategic digital advisor for larger businesses. Silow’s focus will be on boosting brand awareness, enhancing storytelling efforts, and supporting Columbus’ wider growth ambitions.
A Proven Leader in Technology and Business Development
Beatrice Silow’s appointment comes at a crucial time for Columbus, as the company focuses on growth and positioning itself as a trusted digital advisor. Her background in mechanical engineering, with an MSc from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden, complements her leadership skills in marketing and business development. In 2023, Silow was recognised with Microsoft’s Power Women in Tech Award, which celebrates female leaders in technology who have made notable contributions to advancing women and girls in STEM fields.
Silow will join the Columbus Group Management team and report directly to Chief Operating Officer, Ole Fritze. Her primary workplace will be in Gothenburg, Sweden.
