B2B PR and marketing agency TMPR has appointed Steve Lambert as its new PR & communications lead, marking a significant milestone in the Penarth-based firm’s strategic growth.

The newly created senior role is designed to enhance the agency’s editorial strength and bolster its capacity to deliver impactful media campaigns for clients across South Wales and beyond.

Lambert brings nearly a decade of experience in public relations, having led high-profile campaigns across both B2B and B2C sectors. His work has achieved national and trade media coverage in major outlets such as The Guardian, BBC, ITV, and The Sunday Times. He joins TMPR from Cardiff-based communications firm Freshwater, where he held a senior client leadership position and chaired the company’s People, Standards and Inclusion (PSI) Group—an initiative focused on workplace culture, wellbeing, and diversity.

In his new role, Lambert will spearhead TMPR’s editorial strategy, oversee media relations, and support the agency’s expanding portfolio of clients in regulated and specialist sectors. His appointment is the third new hire within six months, bringing the agency’s headcount to 10, with additional support from a national network of contractors.

“I’m proud to be joining TMPR at such an exciting point in its growth,” Lambert said. “The agency has a clear sense of purpose, strong values, and a track record for delivering results that make a difference. I’m looking forward to helping shape compelling campaigns, strengthening client relationships, and driving forward a communications offer that puts clarity and impact at its core.”

The agency recently relocated to larger premises in Penarth to accommodate rising demand for its services. Lambert’s arrival is set to further support TMPR’s ambitions and deepen its expertise in high-impact, values-led communications.

He will also co-chair the inaugural workshop of TMPR’s ‘Grow Getters’ initiative, an outreach scheme targeting school, college, and university students. The programme aims to spark curiosity and inspire the next generation of communications, PR, and marketing professionals.

TMPR founder and director Louise Morgan welcomed Lambert to the team, noting: “Steve’s values-driven approach and clarity of thinking made him a natural fit for our team. His track record in PR speaks for itself, but it’s his passion for purpose-led communications and collaborative mindset that really stood out. We’re so pleased to welcome him at such an exciting time in TMPR’s journey.”
