Intel Corp. (Nasdaq: INTC) and DigitalBridge Group, Inc. (NYSE: DBRG) have jointly announced the establishment of Articul8 AI, Inc. (Articul8), an autonomous entity providing enterprise customers with a comprehensive and secure generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) software platform.

This platform, developed from Intel’s intellectual property and technology, ensures AI capabilities while keeping sensitive customer data, training, and inference within the enterprise’s security perimeter.

Articul8’s GenAI platform offers full-stack, vertically-optimized AI capabilities with deployment options, including cloud, on-premises, or hybrid configurations. It marks a significant move towards securing AI capabilities within enterprise boundaries while ensuring flexibility in deployment strategies.

Arun Subramaniyan, former vice president and general manager at Intel’s Data Center and AI Group, will spearhead Articul8 as its CEO, consolidating the collaborative effort between Intel and DigitalBridge.

Strategic Collaboration and Investment

DigitalBridge Ventures, DigitalBridge’s venture initiative, led the investment in Articul8, supported by a consortium of investors including Fin Capital, Mindset Ventures, Communitas Capital, GiantLeap Capital, GS Futures, and Zain Group. Intel has also taken an equity stake in the company, aligning strategically with Articul8’s mission to drive GenAI adoption in enterprises.

Intel’s CEO Pat Gelsinger highlighted the potential of Articul8 in delivering tangible business outcomes for Intel and its wider network of customers and partners. He additionally emphasized Intel’s commitment to expanding AI applications across various domains.

Articul8’s GenAI software platform is optimised on Intel’s hardware architectures, including Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors and Intel® Gaudi® accelerators. The platform has gained traction in industry segments such as financial services, aerospace, semiconductors, and telecommunications, ensuring high-security standards and specialised domain knowledge.

The collaboration with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and the subsequent deployment of Articul8 products for multiple clients has underscored its pivotal role in integrating GenAI capabilities into business workflows with rapid market deployment.
