Adobe and General Assembly have launched the Creative Skills Academy in the UK, part of Adobe Digital Academy’s global initiative to help 30 million learners develop AI skills by 2030.
The Creative Skills Academy offers free virtual training academies, fully sponsored by Adobe, to help marketing and creative professionals gain in-demand AI, content creation, and creative skills. Participants will also receive training in Adobe tools such as Adobe Express. The first UK cohorts will begin on 25 February 2025, with applications now open.
Sami Eltom, country director, UK, at General Assembly, said, “Demand for AI skills is growing rapidly across the UK, creating a need to upskill professionals across industries. Our longstanding partnership with Adobe Digital Academy teaches up-and-coming creative and marketing professionals how to harness the power of AI in their careers, and provide them with in-demand, job-ready skills. We’re thrilled to bring the Creative Skills Academy to learners in the UK.”
Participants will benefit from live and on-demand training sessions, as well as career coaching, personal branding guidance, and portfolio-building resources through General Assembly. These resources aim to reduce graduates’ job search time and prepare them for roles in the fast-evolving creative and marketing sectors.
The programme is open to UK residents aged 18 to 30 who earn less than £30,000 in annual household income and have an interest or experience in design or creative skills. Priority will be given to applicants from underrepresented groups in technology.
