Visit Shropshire has named Shrewsbury-based full-service agency Reech as its official marketing partner, in a move designed to strengthen the county’s position within the UK tourism sector and support local businesses.
The appointment builds on a long-standing relationship between the two organisations. Reech has worked with Visit Shropshire for over four years on various initiatives, including a multichannel campaign that positioned the county as a leading staycation destination.
Earlier this month, Reech launched two new websites on behalf of Visit Shropshire – one targeting visitors and the other focused on regional businesses. The platforms aim to increase visibility of the county’s tourism offering while also supporting collaboration within the local economy.
The agency will now serve as Visit Shropshire’s trusted partner across upcoming campaigns and ongoing strategic projects. As part of the agreement, Reech is also offering free marketing masterclasses to Visit Shropshire members, designed to help businesses plan more effective strategies for 2025.
Mark Hooper, project lead at Visit Shropshire, said the partnership was central to the region’s broader ambition to showcase its diverse corporate landscape and visitor experiences. “With the recent launch of our new websites and a series of upcoming campaigns planned, we aim to showcase Shropshire’s unique attractions – from its picturesque countryside and historic landmarks to its innovative experiences and cutting-edge companies,” he said.
Reech, which was established in 2009, has become one of the UK’s most recognised regional marketing agencies, working with clients such as Shrewsbury Town Football Club, Severn Hospice, and Salop Leisure. The agency is a Shopify, Mailchimp, Google, Meta and WordPress partner, and was recently listed among The Drum’s top 20 branding agencies outside London.
The strategic alliance marks a significant milestone in both organisations’ efforts to promote Shropshire as a thriving place to visit, work, and do business. Reech will continue to lead creative and results-driven campaigns that highlight the area’s cultural and economic strengths, while encouraging new partnerships across the county.
