Storyblok has introduced Storyblok Labs, a new platform designed to help marketers and developers tackle the growing complexities of content management. The platform provides early access to tools aimed at simplifying content creation, improving scalability, and enhancing user experiences.
The launch follows research conducted by Storyblok that reveals widespread dissatisfaction with existing content platforms. According to the findings, 93% of brands feel restricted by their systems, and nearly half admit to being embarrassed by their websites. Additionally, 92% believe poor user experiences are directly costing them revenue, with 30% estimating annual losses of over $100,000 (£80,000).
Storyblok Labs offers features such as the ideation room, which supports collaborative content creation with the help of AI; AI translations for seamless, one-click multilingual content; and the concept room, a visual workspace for project design and structure. These tools are free to use, allowing users to activate or deactivate features based on their needs.
The research also highlighted the complexity many organisations face, with 27% of brands using four to five CMSs to support their marketing. Among them, two-thirds cite the need to manage omnichannel campaigns, while 43% say they struggle to scale content effectively.
Emerging digital trends, including augmented reality, voice-activated devices, and smartwatches, are expected to intensify the need for flexible and scalable content management solutions.
