HCLTech, a global technology company, has announced a partnership with Multiverse, a leading provider of technology-based training, to launch an advanced AI Transformation academy.
The initiative aims to upskill HCLTech employees in the United Kingdom in artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI (GenAI), enabling them to deliver greater business value to clients and boost productivity through innovative AI solutions.
This 13-month ‘AI for Business Value’ programme, created in collaboration with Multiverse, will focus on the business benefits and ethical implications of AI projects. This initiative supports HCLTech’s broader goal to upskill 50,000 employees in GenAI by 2025, which is intended to enhance overall productivity and increase both client and employee satisfaction.
Upon completing the programme, participants will be better equipped to analyse AI-driven performance metrics, creating a culture of continuous improvement while maximising team and individual potential.
Focus on AI Upskilling and Ethical Deployment
The partnership between HCLTech and Multiverse highlights the growing importance of AI competencies in today’s business landscape. Ashish Kumar Gupta, Chief Growth Officer for Europe and Africa at HCLTech, emphasised the company’s commitment to responsible AI use: “This strategic initiative underscores HCLTech’s commitment to harnessing AI responsibly to drive business outcomes. By partnering with Multiverse, we are not only equipping our workforce with advanced AI competencies but are also amplifying our capacity for innovation and excellence in service delivery.”
Gupta added that HCLTech aims to lead the way in the ethical deployment of AI, ensuring that its clients benefit from the technology’s transformative potential while maintaining high standards of integrity and productivity.
Transforming Business with AI Skills
Multiverse, known for its applied learning model, supports HCLTech in this ambitious upskilling effort. Euan Blair, CEO at Multiverse, stressed the importance of equipping individuals with practical AI skills: “Capturing the potential gains from AI doesn’t just rely on technology and deploying the right models, it also requires individuals equipped with the right skills to apply it in the real world.”
Blair also highlighted the significant role HCLTech plays in the global technology sector, and how this partnership will empower HCLTech employees to unlock the potential of ethical, productivity-enhancing AI solutions for the company and its clients.
